Knuckle rotation is good for lifted vehicles, where the front driveshaft angle to the pinion gets very noticeable. Typically, people will try to find a hi-pinion third for the front to decrease the angle, but turning the knuckles is the proper way to accomplish this.

I say, get it....provided that he can prove it was done well.

the advantage is that it fixes the driveshaft angle problems you end up when you have a lift on your truck. I have a single transfer case 4runner with about 5 inches of lift and just sitting there without the diff side of the axle being flexed down, the u-joint was almost binding. You rotate the pinion up and no more problem. This cannot be accomplished with shims between the axle and the spring because while that moves the pinion up it also changes your caster angle in your alignment and if you have high steer it move your tie rod into the top of your springs. I will find out about the shipping tomorro I have to measure the axle.

I don't mean to put a hamper on anybodies plans here, but I thought I would put in my $.02. When you rotate the knuckles like that, The passenger side perch will not allow a ubolt to pass over the front flat face of the housing and mount to the spring plate properly. If you care to allieviate this problem, you would have to consider clamping the spring between a custom fab axle perch and a spring plate with grade 8 bolts. They are much like the ones that all pro sells for the rear end ubolt eliminator. Just don't want anybody to be stuck with more hassle they may not be capable dealing with. Good luck, and TTT:)

The passenger side perch will not allow a ubolt to pass over the front flat face of the housing and mount to the spring plate properly. thats a good point. I've seen this done before: since the knuckle is rotated 9* you could weld a 9* (assuming you are keeping the castor stock) shim to the perch, thick end forward. This will put the perch level again. You would then have to put another 9* shim (thick end aft) between the spring and U-bolt plate. Its kinda hard to picture what I am saying, but it worked
