search wasn't working
i'm putting a 9" under my BII and i'm figuring out what i need for leafs so i can order from Alcan.
i want to mount under the frame rail, i will probably make brackets and shackles than box the frame in the mounting area's.
any tips or things i'm overlooking?
why would you move your springs under the rail ?on a b2

well, that's kinda why i asked too.
i figured it would allow for more tire clearance and my factory hangers are rusted anyway. So i would have to make some either way.
i'm just tryin' to figure things out.....how much lift i'll need the springs to give me to equal the front w/ d44 and 3.5" James Duff springs w/o using blocks.

I'm using full size 78-79 bronco springs. Built my own hangers, outboard of the frame. Couldn't be happier.

looks like they perform well, no complaints?
what about mounting locations, does the rear one have to be any farther back? i can't give up any room.
and you did all the lift w/ the mounts, no blocks?

No blocks. I did move the axle back about 2". The center pin is also offset a little more than your stock springs, which helps with wheel wrap.
If it worked on my junk, it should work on yours.

If it matters you will get more body roll the farther in you move your leafs. It will flex better though.
