is it possible to convert a dodge married np205 to divorced? can i use ford divorced 205 parts to make it work? Lookin to have a divorced np205 with the gm/dodge offset and i can get a married dodge 205.

Dodge used divorced 205's until somewhere around 70-71 (I think..). Why not just get one of those?

reason i am curious though, is i would rather use a t-case that i can get for virtually free than buy another!! What about parts off an older divorced 205 dodge on the newer married dodge?
 still can't beleive i'm talkin about putting dodge parts in my ranger :barf: :p

Binders used a divorced 205 too! If a yard around you had one I bet they'd trade you. That married style Dodge 205 is a bit rare (at least in my travels).
One problem I see, the divorced cases have the mounting ears cast into them if I remember right, the married ones don't. You're going to have to aquire a divorced case for the parts to do the conversion, it doen't make sense to tear a divorced case up to build a married one into a divorced. Sounds like a lot of work to me.
Don't know about swapping parts to make a married one divirced. maybe call the guys at offroad design...

yeah...sorta....the dana 44 would be ok for a while, but i wanna run 38" sx's on it and dont wanna break all the time. (i got a leaf sprung 77 bronco 44 up front right now) figurein a gm or dodge dana 60 will be easier to find than a ford one. Soon as i get over having :barf: parts in it!!!
and dale.... :flipoff:
