Why did you mount it in such a conspicuous location?

What Cadilacs had these pumps? What were they used for? Where are they on the vehicle?

Because I am proud of my work!!!!:rasta: They are for the air suspension on early 80's GM cars with air suspension, Caddy’s, Olds, Buick, Pontiac. Under the hood on the drivers side by the radiator. Not that good for 0n-board for airing tires. :usa:

OPP's,

So a caddy compressor is crap for tires and air other than for a locker? What not enough CFM?? or not enough pressure?

That sucks. I just pulled one out at pick-your-part and thought I had a good score for $5.

But what wires do what? I haven't pissed around long enough to figure the thing out... If it is the CFM then couldn't you just run it into a big tank and let it build up slowly?

Hook two of em up together and they'll air up a tire pretty good. :D:D:D

They will work, just real slow and I burned a couple up. I have never figured out what the wires on the head do. The "Hot" wire is down on the front and then a ground. At one time I had three Caddy and my ARB compressor into about a 4-5 cu ft tank and it took me about 1/2 hour to air my 33x12.50 BFG MT's from 10 psi to 28 psi. When I went to he 35x12.50 BFG MT's 45-50 minutes. I pick up a York off a Ford PU at P-N-P and may be putting it on. But for right now I just use a Power Tank. :usa:
