View Full Version : Slip yoke eliminator almost here!
:D I called Calmini and asked about the sye they are making for my rig, well everyones rig, :D I was told to look for it any day now! I am very excited about this, because I will be able to have my rear driveshaft made now. I am making my own tcase cross member though, because nobody has one fabbed for the Frontiers yet. The Nissan tcase is getting really good now, because of the gears and the sye, which is a bolt on item by the way, not needing the tcase to be cracked. :smokin:

Whats the cost of the SYE?
Like 200 bucks, and with the gears, the whole t case is really gonna be the chit. And the fact that the sye is an external bolt on item, makes things quite easy to assemble.

I talked to them today again, and they said end of this week it will be for sale. Funny thing is, they have them, and they can ship them tommarrow. They just havn't set a price on them, and won't let them loose til the price is perfected! I need one so bad, my shit is falling off the rig, and every traffic light is a new adventure in tripple clutching. I don't wanna plunk down the bennies for a d shaft until the sye is in and the d44 rear too. I have the axle in the shop right now getting the ring and pinion and detroit locker installed. Plus, I am lifting the drivetrain 2"s and that will affect the d shaft length too.

I hear ya brother, but I still have hope. It is better that they don't advertise it and keep setting the date back, that was a pissoff about the tcase gears.:eek:

Yeah I dont know how many times I have heard "yeah its in stock" and then 10 days later it ships.....
