With 3rd member, he could get up to $1000, add $250 if it has an electric locker in it.
$2500 is way too high.
Seems like prices for these things are lower in Cali than the rest of the world...

I would need more in fo before quoteing a price.
is this a dana 44 or a 60 or what ??
a high pinion could also be a 9 inch ford
center section ???
whatis the overall meashurement ?
who made it ???
if it was a dyna track dana 60 front
whith arb might be worth the 2500$
but me no mater what it is I would not pay
over 1500$

I paid 250 for a stock disk brake mini truck axel from the junkyard with tie rod and everything.
However your friend has a high pinion which is worht conciderably more. I would say $500. Toy axels are not that sought after becuase when you spend 500 for a toy axel you could have had a d44

$300 sounds about right for a disk brake front axle. That's assuming reasonable condition, such as rotors in decent shape and functioning calipers, etc. For that price I'd expect to go through the whole axle end to end and rebuild seals and stuff.
If this is a drum brake axle, give it away. It's just not worth much. I have one that I'm keeping, but just for the housing for a cut-and-rotate before I go SOA. Then I'll swap all the components off my rebuilt disk brake axle. This use is rare though. Nobody wants a drum brake axle.
IT is a high pinon will that make it worth more? or no? and thanks for all the info on this. :usa:
