Quick question on the Kung Fu brake upgrage: I have a 90 XJ....do I need to specifically get an 88 XJ booster, or will my 90 work with the E350 master?

Your current booster is the same as the '88 booster...so it won't be an upgrade. The E350 MC will work with your booster...after you enlarge the holes in the MC's mounting flange to 9/16 and grind off some material from the "ears" of the flange.

The booster upgrade is swapping to a 95/96 xj booster.

The '96 booster is a double diaphram model. It gives more "boost".

I think the '96 booster is a direct swap (the pedal rods are the same) for 84-95 XJs. I'm about to start this swap for a magazine story, so I'll have plenty more info in the coming weeks.

Got a buddy who did the swap and it worked out really good. Might as well do 4 wheel disc or its a waste of time
