Just wanted to know if there are any good how to write-ups on this subject. I'm going to be doing this on a D44 3/4 ton very soon. I've got the axle, now I just need to strip it down and get it ready. Thanks for any info.

Alrighty then I have done a search till my fingers bleed and I can't come up with any info on turning Knuckles.
narrowing yes but turning the housing no.
I understand that the knuckles need to be removed and then the housing can be turned to keep the castor in line.
The left spring perch can be mowed off and relocated but what about the right side.
Do ya just plug a big ol shim in it?
To me IMOHO that just seems to be asking for trouble on the trail.
Or is this how it is commonly done?
