How is the gas mileage on a 85 Blazer? I wanna get one and that's the only thing that I'm really concerned about.

I'm not like obsessed. I just need an estimate on about how much. Either way I'm getting bad gas mileage with the 2 car options I have. But a blazer seems like a hell of a lot more fun.

about 10 mpg's...depends on your driving style....

Thanks very much. How big is the gas tank? 20 gallon?

The size of the tank depends. you could order them with up to a 33gal. i know. but most where smaller

No kiddin, As for the tanks, K5's came with 31 gallon(optional) and a 25 or 27(can't remember) gallon standard. Mine has the 31.

mines got the 31 gallon tank, and it all depends on what the hell u do with it! tire size, gear ratios etc... right now i have 33's with 3.42 gears (which sucks ass) and i average about 14 mpg! :(

Thanks for the input guys. I think I'll leave stock gearing for a while. I want around a 5 inch lift and maybe some 34's or 35's?

nothing wrong with 14 mph in a blazer....
im getting 12-13 mpg in my YJ

Had a 87 truck, with 35's and 3.08 diff gears. Got anywhere from 10-17 mpg depending on how I was driving it.
