Hey, ya'll help me out...which one do you prefer, Line-X or Rhino Linings sprayed in bedliners and interiors and things like that? Taking a survey, let me know what ya'll think, and why if you feel like it.

I have sold both. IMO, the Line-X has a nicer finish, but the Rhino has a softer compound for skid resistance. If it was used to coat a jeep or such, I would use Line-X. But hell, rhino is ok. Just go with a hot applied product when you chose.

my Herculiner works great and was cheap...

EDIT: my thoughts on the actual question: IMO, Rhino is better for a truck bed while Line-X is better for a Jeep interior. :D

A buddy and I are starting a shop and are going to carry one or the other, ya'll let me know any thoughts you have on the two brands. I have had both in my trucks...and they are both pretty good. The Line-X is a little more expensive, to buy into, but is easier to apply as well. Keep the comments coming.:smokin:

I went with Line-X in both my Jeep and Ford. I like it a lot better than the Rhino I had in the old Dodge.

I run Rhino but herculiner is a great cheap alternative. In retrospect, I would probably go with LINE X. It depends on how good the installers are.

I chose to go with Line-X inside my Jeep. Think I would go the same way in the bed of a truck.

Line-X, because I prefer the texture, and from my experiences, holds up great. No real experience with Rhino-liner.

I did the Hurculiner in mt Bronco before I had my shop. I'd give anything to be able to go back (without scraping it off) and going with the Line X.

If you are going to use it in your shop, use the Line X. It just looks great when it is new. That's what the customer is goo goo about. If you plan on doing new trucks for the dealers, they LOVE Line X. :D

This is rather timely, I just got an F-350 and need a bed liner. Looks like I'm going Line X

yeah, rhino looks like chalky dull roof tar with frozen drips in it. It fades just like any bed liner product.

I have linex in the FJ40 and it is great. I was not impressed with rhino lining.

I think that ARMA coating looks, feels, and outperforms the others hands down. IMHO;)

I really like the Rhino in the bed of my truck. I like it so much that once the buggy has a floor and skins it will be coated in the stuff. Unless line-x sponsors the work.

since the government uses line-x to coat sewers and its now being used to bombproof the pentagon...it must be good enough to protect my truck

Is there any particular kind of clear coat that can be sprayed onto a liner to keep it from getting so dull looking? I Herculined my YJ a couple years ago and now everywhere that is exposed to the sun is dull as hell.

Some guy in this post if you look up, said that Rhino Liner cracks in the winter.
I want to get my tailgate line-x'ed, but I have to drive further.

I currently deliver parts for a Jeep dealership and have seen countless trucks with both Line X and Rhino Liner and for what it is worth I would never pay for Rhino Liner to be put in my truck. It fades badly and just looks cheap after a little while and doesn't hold up to constant pounding in the long run IMO. On the other hand, Line X does none of those and I would put it in my truck in a heart beat if I had the cash flow for it. For now...herculiner works for me ;)

CRAZYMATT has been spraying Line-X for quite a long time now and he knows pretty much everything there is to know about them and the competitors such as Rhino and Herculiner. I'm sure you could PM him for questions.
