72'cruiserguy 03-23-2004, 04:22 PM Ive got a 72 fj40 with a very hard brake pedal and i have been told i need a new brake booster. So i called up to my local toyota dealer thinking i might be able to get a good price on one since my brother works up there but its stinkin $600. So i was wondering if anyone had a good brake booster that i could buy off of them. Also placing in wanted section but i dont usaully get many hits there. Thanks, John texican 03-23-2004, 04:25 PM GO to your local boneyard and pick one up from a celica, supra or mini truck, may have to shorten or lengthen the rod, but they bolt up. $40 usually around here. I'll be glad when June gets here and I can rest:D :D I will have used all 3 weeks of my 2004 vacation time by June 1st.
