I made my reservations at Slickrock Campground today for Zukfari in Moab on Easter Weekend. March 25-31. There are campsights still available $26.00 for 2 people w/hookups or $19.00 for 2 people w/out hookups. There are NO cabins available. 1-800-448-8873 is the number.
I just thought I would remind everyone because March is not that far away. Hope to see you all there.

the Moab motels are all most full too, we usually go over for new years eve and do two days of wheeling while the motels are cheap $28.00 a night at Days Inn. We had 4 inches of snow on the 30th, lower heldarodo was tough with fresh snow on the rocks, all we could do is slid off the rocks. widow maker was impossible to climb with out a winch, it was slicker then snot. The worst day of wheeling is still better then the best day at work(pay day).:D :D :D

I know a guy that paid $135.00 per night last year for a Motel room. If I had that kind of money my ride would be as nice as Azrckcrawler's.

Hey! I still owe Visa quite a bit for my axle conversion...... Thank god the little women got me a winch for X-mas :D I might as well let you guys in on my secret. Ever wonder why you never see my wife in the pictures, while I am out wheeling, the wife is at work, heh heh (the plan is working!). She almost caught on around X-mas, had to make something up to explain all the dusty clothes and why there was never any ice in the freezer.....

I think Im on to somthing too, I claim all my wheeling trips, parts, labor and supply's for wheeling as business expenses. We also write the sched around our wheeling trips.:)

It rules working with guys who wheel. Both of the owners of the company I work for have built Jeeps. They are always making parts, and modifying stuff. My one boss was a machinist so he has every tool under the sun, trying to figure out how we can justify a tube bender. Just the other day I went downstairs to talk to my boss about one of the designs I am working on, he started in on the 4 bar link he wants to put under his YJ :D

Just gonna miss EJS, but that's the way we planned it... little too congested that week. Not sure yet. If I have to do you mind if I crash your party? I really don't want to go during the EJS either. Trying to get some people here to commit to a date but if nothing happens here shortly I'll just plan on going when I want to.

Chris, If you come down during EJS you are more that welcome to crash our party. We will have some extra room at our sight if you need somewhere to stay. Same goes with Squirrel. I can't promise room for everyone so it is first come first serve........ Anyway I plan on having plenty of :beer: for after a day of wheeling. Stop by, say hello and have a few.

Thanks for the offer but I definitely won't be there during the EJS. I just want to wheel without the crowds.

Those are the dates we will be there. We are driving out the 2nd, wheel 3rd-6th, and head back the 7th. We will be running Golden Spike/Crack, Cliffhanger, Hells Revenge, and Pritchett Canyon. As far as crashing a party, we're probably just going to head off to the hotel after wheeling. The guys I'm going with aren't exactly "Party Guys". But, I'd love to wheel with ya! i'm 80 miles from Moab so I will be their on the 27th and 28th to wheel and watch the carnage the rest of the week. You cant miss my rig its the same color as Chris's but with red bumpers and red full cage roll bar.It would be great to hook up with the guys comming in on the 2nd thur the 7th.

Well I heard today form a friend that made his reservations today at Slickrock campground that they are filling up FAST. He also said that most of the campspots have been reserved by the Mercedes guys (Unimogs). Talk about a David and Goliath get together. Zuks and Mogs in the same campground who wudda thought.
