86 4runner wide rear 8" diff 4:88's w-No spin, has a problem with after just a few runs from assembly the 3ed's lower mounting bolts loosened up and caused a small leak(how I noticed it) so I tightened up the nuts and crossed my fingers, well a few more runs and nuts are lose/leaking again.
So I am wondering with these newer 37s am I maybe caving in the housing where the 3ed slides into, and is that typical? Or what?


I do remember reading something about a larger studs installed but don’t remember why they did it and could not find it in the search that is probably the fix just want to confirm it.

Stupid question but did you use lock washers? Try loctite?

just add silicone on the threads next time

Yes on the lock washers
Will try the blue stuff before the next run, I guess this it isn’t that common.

When you put the studs in did you screw them in tight and torque them to the same specs as the nuts?? Also lock-tite them!!!!:D
