Go with the EZ locker. It's made by Detroit and it is not the same as lockrite.
My EZ locker survived over 3 years of serious abuse with my DD, civic racing hard driving attitude! The fact it is still in one piece after all that pavement pounding speaks volume to me.
Contrary to what some think street is much harder on the locker then the trail.

the concept is basically the same on how both work (I have a lockright in the rear and a detroit ezlock up front) but the pin arrangement and stuff is a bit different. actually after an install 'by the book' I can not get the ez locker up front to ratchet/open up when cornering (if thats what its supposed to do), but I can get the rear to ratchet when cornering. I dont know if it is due to a bad install by my mechanic (who has done a bunch of these) a locker flaw or if it is because it is in the front axle. I do know that I can have both hubs locked and it doesnt fight me until it is in 4wd though. My vote is for the lockright...yes the detroit has a better reputation for quality HOWEVER the most common failure in a lockright is the pins shearing...you can pick these pins up for $10 at almost any 4x4 shop, wherease getting the pins for an ez locker or any other part for it may prove to be much more difficult.
hope that helps :)

Shearing the pins won't cause other problems tho?

use the detroit it is easier to shim and lockrite will refuse to warranty anything
