OK, I got the 4runner up and running. '87 Toyota Turbo EFI. But it wont run on its own. It runs great above 2k rpms.
When I turn the key on (not running), I hear a click and I hear a pressure escaping sound. This does not happen on my '85 EFI truck.
I swapped computers and the same problem is there.
I am thinking that the injector relay is stuck on and its dumping fuel into the intake. But I am only guessing at that. :(

I had a similar problem on an 88 3.0. It turned out that the MAF sensor was not closing the circuit. This allowed the fuel regulator (hissing) to run prior to even starting the engine. It's worth a shot.

Oh yeah, It is running really Rich. Black cloud exhaust and smells like gas. Thats why I assumed its getting way to much gas.

I will bet "that" is your problem.
It's the exact problems that I was having.
Nasty smelling exhuast
Black Plugs
Hissing on start-up and once it was shut down
Irratic sputtering

Yup. that was the problem. I grabbed another AFM of the shelf and plugged it in and the relay didnt click instantly. The old AFM was stuck open.
I have a Non-Turbo AFM on there now and it works great.
This thing doesnt feel half as powerful as my other truck. I bet its the weight and the auto tranny.

Awsome! Glad it worked out for you.
I know the weight of the Auto is a lot more then the 5spd.
Can I assume you did the normal tune-up crap and cleaned out the intake? It should be pretty peppy even with the Auto.
