my front and rear dana 60/atlas II project has almost run out of $$$$.

can i get one ton driveshafts from a junkyard, shorten them for my appllication?

which trucks/vans should i look for? i would prefer cv driveshafts.

this is going on a yj thats 4" longer than stock, so they will be on the short side when done.

thanks

Any heavy 3/4 or 1 ton GM will have the 1350 joints in it. But your not gonna find any 1 ton CVs. I asked the same question awhile ago. The only trucks that had 1350 CVs are I think 99 and newer Excursions and Super Duty's. All GM front shafts are either 1310 or 3R series, even 1 ton. I bought a 1 ton to sell the axles out of it, and thought maybe that I could use the front shaft, and it was the 3R.
