Are there any good wrecking yards between Las Vegas, Nev. and Flagstaf, Arizona.
Especially yards that have older cars and trucks, like late 60's and early 70's models.
I'll be spending a week down there and It'd be nice to find some good stuff to ship home.

Reddog,
I'm not too fond of most of the wrecking yards here in las vegas. everything is total junk, picked over & anything left is WAY over priced ($500 for a mini truck front axle). I don't know if there is anything good in Kingman, or Flagstaff (you might find a good yard) but in my opinion your better off buy stuff from TAP :barf: than giving any money to most of the yards down here. there is a yard outside of town by the raceway that has alot of older domestic stuff you might want to check out. most of the 420's & 465's in vegas come out of there. They are a little high ($150 for an sm420) but have lots of nevada non rusty stuff. I forget the name but its easy to find & you might find something you like.

Last year I was able to find a part I was looking for at one of the wrecking yards on the north side of Las Vegas (don't remember the name), a Tercel 4WD hatchback wagon power steering pump for my '71 FJ40 conversion. They pulled the part for me and bagged it up so it wouldn't leak all over my luggage (I was flying back to Albuquerque). $45 and it works great, no leaks. That's the same price I've found in Santa Fe and Albuquerque.
