I have a front Dana 60, drivers-side, 4.88:1 out of a 01' Ford F450 for sale in the San Diego area. I'm not real keen on the idea shipping this one cause it weighs a ton, but if you're willing to pay the freight charges I might consider it. I bought this to use as a replacement for my Dana 30, but I decided to replace the axle with something else.
The axle is in excellent condition, but the hubs and tie rod are not there.
Gearing: 4.88
76" WMS to WMS
I called the Ford dealer and this axle would normally cost $4000+
Asking $1900 O.B.O.
Anyone need this one?

It's an 8 lug beast. I forgot to put in the original post that the calipers are also not there..
Here is a pic of the axle. Apart from it being dirty from sitting around for ever and a few scratches on the diff cover it will clean up real nice...

To be specific... yes, but I hadn't gotten that far.
Whatever it is I'm not gonna be using it.... :-D

I know the balljoints aren't anything you look for in a Dana 60, but I've never heard of the unit bering hubs. What is it and is it a good thing or bad??
Thanks,
(Trying to learn it all)

they're a use/throw away item, they're average lifespan is roguhly 100k and are about $400ea to replace, and without machine work, and other modifications are limited to 30sp outers ;)
also, the metric lug patter does not fit a standard 8 lug wheel, it's just slightly off... along with this particular axle is a DRW unit :(
