I've got a cage kit from Scott, and just wondering if it'd fit well in an '89 x-cab. I noticed that All-Pro's kit is for '79-95, so I'm assuming that the interior space is similarly sized throughout the years(although those 1st gen pickup cabs seem small!! )

I have a rockstomper cage in my '88 pickup and it fits great. I did do a little dashboard trimming, because there wasn't much room between the cage and my seat so I had a hard time getting my foot past it when I got in, but dashboard trimming seemed to fix that.

I just put an all pro cage in and it is desigend so that you can adjust it for as tight of a fit as you want. I made mine so tight that I had to weld and paint the rear hoop in the cab, not part of the original plan, but I like the head room.
