just ordered Alcan's for my FJ40. Is there any feedback on them ? I am only putting them on the rear for now due to budget. Anyone have any advise on specific's to watch for. The ordering process was easy and I just feel like something got left out. I can't wait cause my current springs are 3 leaf and stiff as heck.

do you still have stock springs in it right now? if so and if there up for grabs, let me know.

note for the future....get advice PRIOR to purchasing...
Alcan makes good stuff tho...if you gave them correct measurements, you should be pleased.
3-leaf springs are either old Ranchos or more likely old Rugged Trails. THEY SUCK. I literally ran them for one day, had to shorten a trail ride and take them off the next day. NASTY. Gave to a buddy who hauled "jellyroll" hay bales in his 40/flatbed custom thing....he sliced off the bottom two leaves and said they were tolerable with the hay in the back, still nasty without....
I have run Alcan springs in my mini truck for over 5 years now and they are a great spring. A little stiff unloaded, but that is how I designed them. I wanted weight carrying capacity since I was sick of driving down to Pismo with my mototcycles in the back and riding on the bump stops. So I had them made to handle the extra weight. They still flex very well unloaded, but they are a little rough without any wieght in the back.
I think you will like them much better than stock springs.
