I turned my truck off, and when I went to crank it back up not a thing.. no power anywhere.. I checked all the fuses, by the kickpanel and under the hood and they all seemed fine? Any suggestions would be great. :trooper:

Get a voltmeter and make sure the battery has juice. If it does check take the battery cables off the battery and clean the post and the clamps. If still nothing check all the connections on the starter and ALL the ground connections.:smokin: :usa: :smokin:

this same situation happened when I first got the 700R put in. I was showing it to the guy who helped me build my engine and all of the sudden I couldn't get any power.. We ended up swapping some connection from the battery to the starter.. If I remember correctly. I wouldn't think that it could all of the sudden reverse itself like that.. and, is it possible for your battery to just die in 5 mins. I did just change my tranny fluid..maybe a ground is loose somewhere.. I will look for that tomorrow

thanks

Had the same problem. It was a bad ground connection from the battery.

If this is a toyota on the drivers side innerfender there is a connection between the starter and the battery. This connection can sometimes break or burn up. Good luck.

This is odd...what I did was check my battery ground. That was OK.. then. I loosened up the connections, moved them around, took them off and cleaned the posts, and then put them back on.. but, still nothing. Here is the weird thing: My friend and I hooked up some jumper cables and as soon as he touched his battery all my lites came on.. my whole truck lit up.. now, everything seems to be fine. I am going to get have the battery checked tomorrow... and get a new ground wire..

thanks for all your help

do you have the stock type battery cables or cheezy kragans style ones cause the same thing happened to me and were the wires are clamped down on was all dirty so i would check that.

These things have a fusable link?? If so that would do it.
