Hi,

Does anyone know what is the pressure built by the fuel pump in
110 v8 3.5L ?

Shahaf.

The pressure should run around 35 psi. Rovers seem to well tolerate deviations from this, but run poorly at reduced pressures.

Peace,

what the heck is a carb?

Doesn't that have to do with a diet or something?

Do you even need a pump for 5 psi?

Yes, It just that I converted to Edelbrock Performer intake manifold with a Rochester QuadraJet carb and I've got strange phenomenon about 2700 RPM while pressing the pedal down the carb isn't working well and the car start chocking. Or I've too much fuel or less ...

If you have a manual choke, try this trick…when the engine starts to falter pull out the choke some, if it runs better then the carb is running too lean. If you are getting black smoke when it falters…too rich. The SU’s had a return line back to the tank, did you use that?

Try v8engine.com lots of good info in there for this conversion. Check the FAQ section.
