When pulling the grill to get at the condensor yesterday. I noticed a set of wires w/plug that came down between the headlight assembly and the support where the condensor is/was mounted. They were on both sides.
Is this a left over from headlight washers? Or is it the attachment point for the old stock fog lights? Just curious.
The rangie looks like a toothless wonder at the moment with the grill missing..

Probably not headlight washers as the pump would be near the resevoir.
Could certainly be for fog-lamps, get out your voltmeter and turn on the fog-lamp switch...if you don't have a voltmeter, use your tongue.

I would go with fogs.
Do what DL says and prove it.

Way ahead of you....I tested the wires with both fog switches in the on position. Both with the headlights on and off....and no juice. Tried both sides incase one side was dead. Course, by this time other parts in the line could have been severed.

Well, then the next best thing is to splice the wires with a ground. When, in fact, that circuit does decide to eventually work, it should blow a fuse. You can then find the blown fuse and know what circuit it is.
Or, if you've replaced most of your fuses with paper-clips and aluminum foil like most Rover owners, your truck should burn to the ground due to the ensuing electrical fire. But at least you'll know. I hate mysteries.

Sounds like the plugs for the fans that should have been in front of the condenser.

I'd agree...except he's been working to remove the condensor and I'm sure he would've seen the wires his fans are plugged into...
...that is, if he had the fans to begin with :D

Different plugs:rolleyes:
had to disconnect the plugs to remove the fans.....definately not them.
Did the stock bumper have any lighting in it?
If I remember, I'll take a picture when I get home tonight....if the weather cooperates...I expect to see animals lining up two by two pretty soon.
