Hey guys. I just bought a 74 scout with no engine trans or xfer. I have a SBC with the 700r4 and 241 sitting in my garage...you see where Im going. I know that alot of you like the IH engines, and I do too. I just dont happen to have one. So, does someone know of a good motor mount to use? I have searched and cant find any info. I can fab some up, but it may be easier to buy them. Also, I have no radiator. Is the inlet/outlet on the scout rad the same as the chevy? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Just make your own.
Don't know of anyone that is bothering to sell pre-fabbed conversion mounts.

make your own mounts, very simple task, amazing what you can build out of square stock , angle iron and some 1/4 plate....I'm using a Downey chev conversion radiator for a fj40.. You can also use radiators out of older dodge trucks "early mid 70's" heard they work, atleast that is what my little brother is going to use on his chev conversion.. hope that points you somewhere:flipoff2:
Oh and welcome aboard

Get some Trans-adapt #4100 Jeep to Chevy engine mounts, they work great when putting the Chevy engine in the Scout II, or the Scout 800. Been there, done both, Scout II and 800.
