i am planning on buying a frint axle with a detriot locker. Some friends are telling me no because they say i won't be able to turn. How bad will my turning be affected with a detriot locker?

Go for the locker.

the difference with a locker front and an open front is that you tend to push to the outside on turns.
the difference in off road capability will far outshine the slight drawbacks (that you will get used to in time.........)

get the locker, go wheelin with your buddies and I guarantee they will all want the front locker too........

The birfs are week on corners right?
So if I don't it the gas on corners my birfs should be ok correct.

<FONT COLOR="Red"> My front is detroited and the only time steering gets rough is on smooth dry slabs of granite. All you have to do is turn sooner and expect the radius to be larger. Once you're in the rocks though, you will be kickin ass and lovin it. You WILL have to have power steering for things to be like this tho.. </FONT c>

<FONT COLOR="Red"> Be sure that your steering stops are set to prevent "over turning" of the knuckle.. and, yeah they're weaker when fully cornering. </FONT c>
