Just pulled my dead power steering pump.. got the nut and two washers off but cant get the damn pully off... what am i not doing??

Think you need a puller if it's anything like a domestic pump, grips the flange in the center and applies pressure to the shaft. Not 100% sure though, never had reason to remove one. :)

Here is what I do, and has worked good.

Hold the pump/pulley with the pump pointing down (pulley nut facing up) and use a plastic dead blow and beat on it, it wil pop right off..

Here is what I usually do. I put some penetrating oil, let it sit. Then with a rubber mallet I tap the pulley (which is still in place in the engine compartment) then I turn it a 1/4 turn, tap, quarter turn, tap and so on.
