Do the pathfinder rear disc calipers have an integral Ebrake? Or is the ebrake in the rotor, like a drum style?
I am trying to convert mine to rear disc, but want to know if the nissan parts are better than the other stuff around. Also, trying to keep it 6 bolt. :)

The e-brake is drum-type, not on the caliper. Get some Audi calipers from the j-yard, they have the e-brake included.

I am going to be buying a set of used Caddy calipers with the integrated e-brake cams. Mid-to late 70's through the 80's had them. Eldorados for sure, do not know about the other models.

Those calipers have a pretty rough reputation. Also, i definitely want to use the nissan rear rotors, as they fit over my axle flange perfectly, where no other rotor has. I just need to find another vehicle that has 11/16" rear rotor thickness and has an integral ebrake.

Hmm...rough reputation? To tell you the truth I had not looked into the history on those calipers much before I went ahead and bought them. What have you heard? They are already on their way, I hope I didn't make a $$$ mistake.

well as I can tell it is hit and miss. I have heard that they are difficult to service, and that the ebrake doesnt always work.
If you bought new ones, maybe you wont have those problems, could be that everyone who has encountered problems was using boneyard calipers. :)
just curious, what thickness rotors do the caddy calipers work on? I need something near 11/16"

Not sure on the rotor thickness, I was going to figure that out as I went along...
I know you can upgrade the bearing disc behind the parking brake cam to fix a problem they have with those. Something like going from a 3-ball disc to a full-circle disc.
I will let you know more as I find it out...
