Tranny swap

I want to replace my 203 transfer case so I migth as well replace my transmission also. I have a 77' Blazer with a 400/350/203 combo. I am debating going witha 700-R4/208 or 241 combo or a 465/205 combo. I wish I could afford the NVG-4500, but I can't. What are your experiences with these and how hard were they to install. Thanks.

Go with the 241 if you can. Its a little better then the 208. The auto or manual is your preference. IF you do go manual, just get the externally balanced plate for the clutch since its the 400.

The rest should basically be a bolt in deal. You will have to mess with the drivelines though.

If you are going to be hard on your rig, The 205 might be the better choice.
