I got a used disco cv joint for my 91 rrc from Bill at GBR. I have to change the oil seal in the stub axle( the disco cv joint and rover joints require different seals). How do I get the old seal out and the new in?

If I remember correctly, the seal is metal. In that case use a punch and a hammer to bang out the old seal. For the new seal find a socket that will completely cover the surface of the new seal and bang it back in. Using a socket will distribute the force more evenly and keep the seal from getting all bent out of shape.
