My 99 Tahoe has a radiator leak. I noticed a small puddle of rusty fluid on the garage floor and have been running low on coolant. I have been adding coolant, and wondering if there is anything to get me some more time before I have to replace the whole unit. Any additive that will help fill the hole? Am I just nuts and should just replace the radiator?

Calm down Noobie, this is how it works around here. If you can`t take a tease then change forum!
Use some JB weld to fix the hole or solder it if you can... Don`t use stop leak, itll fuck up something else.
Oh and I forgot
Welcome NOOBIE :flipoff2:

Check the the plastic tank on the drivers side. It is very common to get a hairline crack. This happens when your radiator gets clogged up. I just had my 96 Tahoe and 95 Sub fixed. It's $35.00 for the tank and $65.00 for them to rod out the core. Hope that helps.
Check where the Radiator Core and the Radiator tanks join up sometimes the brazing/welds there develop leaks, if the overflow tank is fine. If the problem is the radiator itself take it out yourself and take it to a radiator shop. They normally are pretty inexpensive. Pulling it and re-installing it will save you probably the majority of the labor cost involved in fixing it.
