I have finally gotten a chance to get some more work on my project TOY done. :)

I am completely rebuilding the front axle. I have torched off all the unwanted brackets and cleaned and removed all the seals, knuckles, etc. Welded on my front axle truss. I have my detroit and 5.29's in hand along with all the required bearing, shims for the third. I also have new Timken wheel bearing and races, as well as bearing seals.

What I do not have (don't have part numbers)

Are the seals for the outer axle. (the one that keeps grease in the knuckle from getting in the axle tubes.)
I also need complete set of seals and shims for the knuckles. I would also like to get the 'metal rings' that go along with the knuckle wipers. Both of the them. The one piece ring and the two-piece ring. I also need bearings and races for the knuckles.

I would take a look in my manuals but they are all in storage.
Not having a home SUCKS!:(

Thanks for any help.

...If you mean the seal for the inner axle that's inside the knuckle at the end of the axle tube... Then I've got one in my truck... I'll trudge through the foot and a half of snow and get you a part number tonight... Since I'm such a nice guy. :flipoff2:

(Assuming someone else hasn't given it already by then :D)

...If not, never mind. :D

...They were cheap tho, I'll tell you that. I paid $120 CDN for both sides, new wheel bearings and the inner tube seals... Parts store had the #'s...

try all-pro. They have the cheepest kit I have seen. It has the knuckle bearings, outer felt and rubber greese seal, all the inner and outer axle seals, and the metal shims. It even has the lockout hub gasket. It does not have the metal greese scrappers however. From my searching the only place to get those is from the factory. It also does not have the hub bearings (the bearings inside the hub that ride on the spindle).
