: shocks for a tow rig?

just curious but what is everyones recomendation for shocks on a tow rig? i have a 99 f350 crew cab long bed and it needs shocks. just curious as to what performs well on a big heavy tow rig. thanks

I went with the Edelbrock AIS on my Excursion. They were a little pricy but kick a$$. If you search you will find some info on this.:)

Bilsteins on my '01 Duramax CC - UNBELIEVABLE difference. Best money I've put into the truck - better than the box which helps me run 0-60 in 6 secs, and the quarter in 14!!!

Can't say how well they work 'cause they have not come in yet, but I have an '02 Duramax Crew 4x4 and after a great deal of research on the diesel and towing web sites, I ordered Bilsteins.

Yes i would buy them again. I have had so callled premium shocks in the past and unless you have a long travel race machine they arent necassary.
