Does anyone have any experience with the Headman hedders on their Toyota. Summit is selling them for a little over $100.

(I know you pay for what you get.....but i am a poor college student on a tight buget and the LC hedder is a little out of my price range. )

However....at the same time i do not want to buy something that is going to crap out on me after a year!!

If Hedman sucks......who makes a decent hedder that a poor college student could afford. Any suggestions.

I sell Heddmans, and haven't heard anything negative yet. If you can get them for little over 100.00, do it. We(NAPA) sell them for around 200.00.
Make sure you doublecheck the application, according to heddman their header only work on 22R's not 22RE. wich does't make much sense to me because I know the manifols will bolt up to eachother. Only thing I see being a problem would be the O2 sensor.

If you sell them.....can you get me any information about them. When i talked to Summit they really didnt know what they were talking about (or at least the guy i talked to didnt) I have a 22R for now, so i guess that would not be a problem.

How thick are there flanges? What kind of power increase are they suppose to give? (high end or low end) Any info would help. Thanks

My buddy hada heddman on his toy - the collector pulled o0ff twice then It was always blowing both gaskets out ( im not sure how often he was retorquing it ) He later swaoped back to a manifold and said there was no difference in power between the 2 ( I don't see how'd u'd notice ~7hp - I never did with my pacesetter)

Try a pacesetter -there a decent header for the momey - I ve had mine for 5 years - yea the collecter pulled off - but that my fault - caught it on a stump :D:D:D:smokin:

I put my Thorley on from Summit last weekend. Just got my Flowmaster today from them also. The header kit was $190 shipped, so I'd say go with a proven one for another $90.
