I fired up the TBI 454 in the cruiser for the first time tonight. Cranked for about two seconds and it lit right up. I learned first hand that nothing sounds quite as sweet as an uncorked Big-block:D . I got so amped about it I just had to share. Just a few more things to do and it'll be on the trail. I can hardly wait

I got a steamer too! I drove the 45 today after about a year of down time. I just need to get the flat bed built and I am off and running. Not quite a big block with TBI though! I am jealous.

Eric, congratulations on your motor. I'm still having wet dreams over your cruiser when I saw 2 months ago, now with an uncorked 454 I'm going to have see a doctor. Send me pic if possible. Kelly.

Very cool! Always good to hear that another Landcruiser is up & running. Please post pics. What radiator & fan are you running? Keep us posted.

Well it'snot exactly "up and running" yet, but the motor runs, still got a ton of little details to work out. As for the radiator, I got a Howe 19"x26", which was the biggest I could fit due to some other modifications. To start with I am going to run a 19" flex fan (I know, I hate them too), but I plan on switching to a pair of electrics in the future. I'm just running low on money for them at this point. I'll let you know how it all works out, it should be on the road in about a week.
