I am trying to get my Brakes back to working order but ran into a snag.
I am using YJ brake lines and proportioning vavle, but CJ Master Cylinder and Booster. Besides the different line sizes and different side that it hooks to (which I can deal with), I think I have another problem.
On the CJ, the front port of the MC goes to the back of the PV for the rear brakes, and the back port goes to the front of the MC for the front brakes. On the YJ PV it is just the opposite, the front port goes to the front and the back port goes to the back. Is there a difference in the CJ to YJ Master Cylinders (front port and back port)? Should I plumb in the CJ Proportioning Valve and take out the YJ Proportioning Valve?
