I have a good deal for anyone interested!
It is 1991 toyota 4x4 4runner sr5 automatic. It has a genuine gear quick lock locker in the rear. About $1000.00 custom cd stereo with amps and sub, custom front bumper with 6 1/2 ton d-ring shackles and reciever, 5 bridgestone mtr 32x11.50r15's (black rock crawler wheels, spare is brand new), original toyota wheels and tires 31x10.50r15's, 2 Kc 150 watt daylighters, thule roof rack with bike rails and original toyota roofrack, original running boards, cobra 40 channel cb with 8 foot whip antenna, k-9 keyless entry and alarm, 6 rock lights for night crawling 2 do not work ( bad ground I think), Toyota factory tow hitch - I think its a class 1, hard rubber floor mats with back floor liner. New egr valve, radiator, belts, hoses, plugs, wires, cap & rotor, fuel filter, thermostat, battery and probably some other items I might have forgoten. This rig has seen every trail in Uwharrie National Forest. Now for the bad news - A while ago I was driving to work and the head gasket blew (common 89-95 4runner problem) - well I bit the bullet and decided to buy a new remanned long block. I bought one from Japan Direct and had my tech at work do the job. He did the work and I drove the truck for about 380 miles when it started knocking. I called Japan Direct and told them - they sent me a new one! My tech did the work againa dn this engine decided to start knocking as soon as the motor got hot! Now I was getting frustrated. I called once more over to the guys at Japan Direct and the told me that they wanted to tow my vehicle to them and let them do the work. I let them do it and the 3rd engine failed as well. Who ever buys this truck must understand that the long block will not be installed and will be included with the truck along with all the other engine components. It is a rebuildable core - thats what Japan Direct gave me back for my truck. They also refunded my $ for my troubles but I basically had to beg for that too. Japan Direct claims that they have no idea why all 3 engines failed but I think that it was their shitty engines and their plant "Orient Engines". I will take $3500 for the truck as is - not including shipping - if you want it towed I do have a good source that I could call to tow it basically wherever on the south east you need it.
Let me know if you need pics - I should be getting more recent pics of her since the bumper was made. I should have pics by next weekend. Email me if interested at danielcallahan@bellsouth.net
Thanks - I know its alot to read - I really hate to see her go but Im paying for my wedding and taking care of my new baby girl so toy has to go for now!
Thanks for looking and take care
P.S. I am going ou tof town this weekend April 24th and wont return for 2 weeks on May 9th. When I get back she is going on ebay ! ! ! !
