I have 31's on my stock 4runner and before I put the tires on the previous tires were some metric number and was probably smaller because the people that owned it before me were cheap. Which I know means more power but the dam thing is a dog now. Did 4runners come stock with 31's? Or were they smaller? Also what is the stock gearing in a 93 4runner? and should I wait to get 33's and a lift before I gear it down?
Thanks:D

my 91 runner came factory with 31's and 4.56's. If yours came with a standard size tire it has 4.10's. Im putting in 5.29, so I may have a set of 4.56's for sale for next to nothing in a few weeks. Let me know if your interested. Just to let you know, I am running 35's with 4.56's and it works good, im getting the 5.29's cause my new axle came with them:D

Is that front and rear 4.56? And how many miles do you have on them?

yes front and rear, they have like 130,000 on them, I have only taken it off road 2 times, the previous owner never took it off road. But the ring and pinion may have been replaced I don't know, thats why they would be really cheap.

I am interested, so right now your pushing 35's with 4.56 gears? Do you have good power? going up hill on the freeway?
