Window motor Replacement help...

I am replacing the window motors in my 86 chevy 1 ton.

I cannot seem to figure out how to remove the old motor, and install the new one.

Can anyone help?

I believe you have to drill out the old rivets holding it on (3) if memory serves me... then re-rivet the new one back on...last time I did one I had to use some fender washers as the OEM rivets had a larger head on them then I could find at the hardware store.... hope this helps :flipoff2:

Yea, it helps...but I think you are one step ahead of me...I can't get it out of the door...don't I need to remove the entire assembly first? What does a guy need to do to get it out of the door?
