Does anyone have a printable trail map of the Con? I have only been to the Loon Lake entrance, and i would like to find the Wentworth Spings entrance. Any help is appreciated.:D

it's easy to find (once you've been there:D) keep going down Ice House Rd past the Loon Lake turn off. you'll go past Angel Creek and a dam on the left hand side, past a camground on the right hand side. (not sure exactly how far, but it's a ways)... eventually you'll come to a split in the road once there are no center yellow dividing lines where the left fork does a radical bend to the left and the right just sort of branches off straight. Take the right. There is a (brown HWY 3 sign there, but it's been shot up so its real hard to see. Go for a couple miles down this road (narrow one lane)... past some old out of use cabins on the right hand side.... eventually the road will veer left and a dirt road will come off straight. There is a Wentworth Springs sign there. Go down that dirt road which leads to Wentworth Springs campground, and now your on the Wentworth entrance. (sorry... don't have any maps handy at the moment...:D )...

run a search. There was a post on this a few months back. I believe that the original and "official" trail is through Wentworth... but somebody correct me if i got that backwards.

Correct . . . The original Wentworth-McKinney road goes thru Wentworth Springs, Little Sluice, Old Sluice, Buck Island, Rubicon Springs and then on to Tahoma.

As for what is "Official", I guess that's up to whomsoever you're talking to or whatever's PC for the day.

If your GPS skills are up to par, click here. (http://www.rubicon-trail.com/guide.html) This site also has some downloadable maps, but I can't get them to come up right now.
