Call me late, but I finally got a look at the WJ passenger side knuckle. That is FAWKIN' cool! Really you only need the pass side, so one should be able to save some cash.

High-steer setup for D30 knuckles. It has two separate mounting points for the draglink and tierod.

Bolt it up to your D30 inner knuckle. Then all you have to do is run the draglink to the higher mount and drill out the lower mount to bolt up the tierod above the knuckle.:D

Somebody said he tried and couldn't get away from the bump steer. Didn't talk to him myself, so you may want to.

BTW, did you know that the WJ's bolt pattern is 5 on 5"? Strange, huh?

I just called my friend at the dealership.. if the hub assemblies are the same where they bolt onto the knuckle, all you have to change, would be the knuckle, but hes not for sure, because hes never seen it.. those knuckles are expensive, my cost on them is 245 a piece. damn... hmm i might call a wrecker but who knows if they have them yet

Anyone know what the bolt pattern for the wheel bearing assembly is? If its not the same as a other D30s (XJ, TJ etc...) it might complicate the swap.

I know I'd like to do it for my crossover steering . At least on my XJ- raising the draglink connection on the knuckle would help solve what bumpsteer I have with my current hi/low drag-tie rod heim setup. Then I might not need to make a trackbar drop bracket.

Bolt pattern is 5 on 5" I believe. Different than the CJ (5 on 5.5") or YJ-XJ-TJ-ZJ pattern at (5 on 4.5")

You are talking about wheel bolt pattern and they are talking about bearing bolt pattern...the XJ TJ YJ D30 have like three bolts holding the bearing assembly on...if you look at the back of your knuckle you will see the bolts we are referring to...they are 12 point

Exactly, the wheel bolt pattern ot the WJ doesn't matter. The hub should unbolt (w/ the 3 mentioned bolts) and then you bolt up your exixting hub w/ the 5" x 4.5" bolt pattern.

I was staring a a buddy of mine's 2wd WJ. I'm pretty sure they will work too. I told him if he wakes up and part of his axle is missing its me so don't call the cops...:smokin:

Yeah. Rod (aka RYSYJ) is going under the knife here soon. The short shaft for the T18 should be on his doorstep by Monday. A built F44 (Moser's and 727's :eek: ) and 31 spline 9" are being dropped off tomorow. He's also got the 3.15:1 gearset comming for the 20. Then we're gunna do SOA on his 4.5" RE extreme duties on 38's. She's gunna be a big mo fo. Stay tuned...
