A few people have tossed this out over the last year, but nothings happened. Who is interested in getting together for a run at the Hammers? People would be coming from all over and need time to plan, what about a late summer, early fall gathering.

PS-check these Aussies out in the rocks...looks like a cross between Montrose and Tellico! Thanks for whoever posted this link! www.trailcraft.net.au

Believe it or not when Jesse Rodocker(sp) did it during the 24 hours, he was running stock axles w/ 35's and didn't break one from what I hear.

But yes, carnage verrrrry likely!

I'm up for it and have posted about it before.
The timing is the main thing that has prevented it from happening so far. I was trying to make it to Fatkids JV trip this month but my rig is not ready yet(waiting on wheels and tires and some R&R.)

I actually have Jesse's old stock axles. (I bought some stuff from him as spares about a year ago) You know what the sick thing about them is? There is NO twist. How, I dunno.

Believe it or not.

Man, thats unbelievable. I've got the video and when his buddy is driving one section, he practically hops the vehicle off the ground 2 0r 3 times trying to get over one obstacle! Best part is he drove to and from the event and finished all trails within the 24 hours.

I talked to Chris Wood about other possible 24 Hour venues and he said Tellico was a strong consideration for the next one...this was five or six months ago.

I wonder what my axles look like? now when I go offroad I am always expecting to break an axle. By all thats right in the univerese, I should have broken them long ago. Only running 33's helps, but I have over 150K on them! All hard driving and offroad loaded down with weight.

Maybe I have a set that accidentally fell in some liquid nitrogen?
