I just got some 37's for my blazer and i want a decent amount of flex on them before bottoming out on sheet metal.

Should i remove my inner fenders?

How should I go about trimming it?

I used an air hammer with a sheet metal chisel(spelling?) Worked great. Just make sure you dont go too fast.

I just use tin snips.

Keep them if you can. If they need a little bit of clearance, just beat on them with a hand sledge some. If they are totally in the way, hack them off. Each vehicle is a little different, so just start small and then keep trimming until nothing hits.

Yup.

And if you don't do anything with your inner fender, make sure to beat all the pinch welds flat with a BFH so they don't do a nice grooving job on your tires...If blazers have them...pinch welds that is...:D

i think that you get a smoother more controled cut with an air saw.

I just used a grinder with a cutting wheel and it came out great.

Not a great pic

How much lift are you running now? This is 4.5" suspension, 1" body lift with 39.5" swampers.

I used a sawsall and a cutoff wheel.
