: Newbie initiation???

I didn't realize that I received multiple :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2: just for being a newibe. I guess that is my initiation though, that's cool. I just copied some of the other posts that I saw trying to win the arms, didn't know that it resulted in a bbs flip-off contest. I am a newbie to this BBS, but I have been on the toy mailing list (both with off-road.com & some with 4x4 wire) for going on 3 years and have learned alot. I do value the knowledge of other toyota owners/wheelers and consider it a great resource. Just from what I've learned on the toy list I have: fabbed my own rear bumper, stainless steel skid plating, stainless x-members, installed my rear lock-right, replaced my timing guides, cam, head gasket, rebuilt hubs, replaced my clutch, installed and tuned my CB, installed multiple lift kits, and I am currently gathering parts for my SAS, all on my own. I don't have the rocks to crawl on like on the west coast, however I do wheel my truck hard and consider my contributions to and presence on this list to be just as important as anyone elses.

I guess what I'm saying is, if it means receiving an occasional :flipoff2: to be a part of this BBS, where we can all share knowledge and better our rigs, then so be it.

Thanx,
Vince

you're still a newbie:flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

btw, was'nt your last post pretty ridicuous?
I don't think it had anything technical in it. It was'nt even about wheelin. Maybe it would have been better to put in in chit-chat.

welcome anyway, newbie:flipoff2: :flipoff2: :D

I don't think it was 'ridicuous' :flipoff2: but it was ridiculous;) , yes I agree. In fact, I'm such a newbie that I intended that to be a reply to the other thread, but was half asleep  when I typed it.

Sorry.

One word of advise.... If you have a question about ANYTHING.... try a "search" on it first. No matter how crazy or unusual it seems, chances are someone on these BB has built it, tried it, bent it, or broke it....
Or you may get burned...

And

:flipoff2: Welcome! :flipoff2:

You also might want to think about changing your name from toyboy to something else. It's way too close to BOYTOY :rainbow: :rainbow: and a few of us   may have to use it from time to time if you post stuff like this again :flipoff2: :flipoff2: welcome newbie.

If you would have "lurked" on the site for a while, you would know that every Newbie get the traditional fawking newbie salute :flipoff2: You can save yourself a lot of flaming by changing your screen name to anything other than TOYBOY! That's just too:rainbow:

Oh, btw, :flipoff2: welcome:flipoff2:
