After workin with the Scout all winter it was time too testdrive.
Dont drive far until i notice the tires rub the fenders.
Back in the garage i chop the rear wheel-wells too get room for the 38" tires.
The pictures are before the cutting.
The next step is too put in a transfercase from a Volvo valp.
Zf vg 50. 3,25:1 on low range.
A freind with 42"tires and 3,77 in the axels, put in a Volvo case and its workin perfect.

That looks like a factory steel hardtop. I've only seen one in person compared to a dozen fiberglass tops. The problem with the steel tops is that they crack up in the back corner.

Looks like a Cut Down hard top.. nice job at that (from the pics)


Factory steel 1/2 cabs are MUCH more squared in the back, and the 'glass Terra tops are simular but use the round window glass...


Course, it is Sweden, could be something unique to them.
