Got my steering (reg. crossover) in today for my chev 44. It's from a '77 or newer (based on non-flat top pass. knuckle). Anyways, go to put my tie-rod on and the drivers side knuckle is reamed from the bottom up / \ and the passenger is reamed from the top down \ /....... I got the drilled/tapped flat top from parts Mike. What models were reamed from the top and which were reamed from the bottom. I guess my only options are send the flat-top back to Mike or switch out the drivers-side for one reamed from the top. Not sure if the tie-rod will fit under the springs on the top, though. So what models were what, what's my options here??

Sounds like he sent you a Dodge flattop on that passenger side. All of the Chebbie knuckles have the tie rod on the bottom.

All the Chevy outer stuff(hub, rotor) would bolt up to a Dodge knuckle?? Could it be a Wagoneer knuckle?? I wish he would have asked me what I had. :rasta: I thought they were all the same.

Yep the Chevy stuff will bolt up to the Dodge knuckle. The spindle bolt pattern is the same. Waggies are also bottom mount.
