how much push rod travel is ideal? i'm using a '74 cj swinging pedals and i'm trying to determine whether i will need some kind of spacer between the booster and the firewall or to drill another hole on the pedal for the clevis pin...thanks

If I remember right. The last time I had the master cylinder off and bleeding the new one it moved around 1 1/2 or 2 inches. I would drill a hole on the pedal if you had to, but that is just me. I have got a bad one at the shop. I'll be there tomorrow and will let you know for sure if no one chimes in

i pushed the pedal to where I wanted it, pushed the clevis in all the way. marked where it was on the pedal and drilled a new hole. perfect. now i'm messing with pushrod length. I wish you could still buy the damn pushrod for the cadi hydroboost
