I was hoping that someone will know , on a shackle reverse, you move your stock rear springs to the front and are supposed to use jeep springs for the new rears. What year and from what jeep, do I select my leafs from? Thank you

I think you use the front leaves from a jeep cj. Make sure there the same width as the sammy ones though.:smokin:

You can use whatever springs you want for a S/R. Never seen anyone run stock rears, YJ springs are popular but you need to move the front spring mount forward 5-6 inches and get a longer travel driveshaft.

Are you sure you want to SR? I ran one on my Sami for almost a year and I was sure glad when I got rid of it. With the reversal, the ride is nice, but the nose dive is dramatic. Also, axle torque during climbing will cause the shackle to extend and generates lots of hop in the front end. Mine climbs and handles much better without it......
Just my .02 worth.

The YJ S/R has none of these traits.
