Maybe this will help in the mean time....I need to know if the following are in usable/good condition:

Front:
All brake parts
Hubs
King Pins...sloppy or tight
Shafts
Housing/tubs straight/not cracked

I don't care about diff/gears, spring/shock mounts, or ujoints...these will get replaced or moved anyway. Unless it has a locker already

Rear:

All brake parts including
Housing/tubs...straight, no cracks...surface rust okay
Shafts

I don't care about diff or gears or spring/shock mounts...unless it has a locker already

I can tell you from my experience with J. Hard that his work and word is good. Just picked up a set of 60's from him and not only was the prices right, but he told me if anything didn't hold up as expected to make sure he was the first to know(did a bit of work for me on them). Real stand up guy. Looking forward to working with him again.

Chad, thanks for the kind words. Hope the swap goes well for you. Send some pics.:)

Marlon,

The condition of each axle is as follows...

85-91.5 Front HP60:
Brakes- Rotors are rusty but have plenty of meat and could be turned, Calipers are there, just not attached to the axle, IMO they should be replaced. The hardware piece that you need to attachthe caliper to the caliper bracket is missing but comes with the calipers when buying them. Use the old calipers for cores. (Dual Piston Ford Calipers).
Hubs- Move freely and lock/unlock properly.
Kingpins- Are tight.
Shafts- Solid, no problems. As usual, 35 spline inners and 30 spline outers.
Housing- Straight, no cracks, obviously some surface rust. All factory brakets are still on.
Sitting on a pallet and ready to ship if needed.

78-79 Front HP60/Standard Rear 60
Brakes- Not sure on brake condition as the axle is still in a running truck. (Engine problems I believe) Brakes will be complete and POSSIBLY usable, as is. I will know more when I pull the axle next week. (Dual Piston Ford Calipers in front Drums in rear).
Hubs- Move freely and lock/unlock properly.
Kingpins, Shafts, Housings,- Look to be fine and usable, as is. I will know definitevely once I pull them out of the truck next week.
