OK - building up the CJ7 frame this weekend along with tearing up some other things on it

I ordered the following:

bluetorch fab CJ full width kit
CJ rear relocation kit (6" gain in WB)
XJ stock rear leafs (local jeeper trade)
RE - YJ SOA 1.5" leafs for the front
RE - AAL full length XJ leaf
some other things but for this question(s) I have thats all that is needed...

The front axle will be SOA full width dodge D44 - tube is 2.75" + the RE YJ 1.5" + ~1.5" for the leaf pad&perch = ~7-8" of lift?

The rear is a 14B DRW converted to SRW - 3.25" gain from the tube + XJ 2" AAL + leaf pad&perch ~1.5" = ~7-8" of lift?

1. I am not sure on the spring rate of the RE SOA 1.5" YJ front leaf (anyone know this?) - have not done a thorough search on it BUT I have a 360 up front so it will be weighing it down some...There will only have the weight of the tub and a 15gal fuel cell...and some cage - no where near the weight of the engine

2. Up front should I go with a larger lifted spring (BDS 2" YJ front? - since it would also require a 5/8" shackle lift also) <---Would that make too much lift up front?

I guess its mainly cosmetics and not functionality that I am worrying myself with here...the CJ will be on 38.5-39 TSL/SX's on 16.5x10 beadlocks (FWIW)

If you build a rear bumper/ spare tire carrier, you'll weigh the rear down some.

With your SOA and 1.5" springs you're gonna have a hard time clearing 39" tires. I'm running an SOA 2" springs and SRS up front with a 1"BL..... the tires clear ok but still rub when flexed hard.... see pic.

In your CJ it should be enough. I have run a similar setup (d44 srs, soa, 44044's) all it needed was a little trimming and some TJ flares f and r. I had 40's and almost never rubbed.

thanks...well the rear will be dovetailed and since it will never see the hard surface nor legal to I will be sawzalling the crap out of it...
