I figure I picked up about 20 HP or so, right? :D

Maybe a nice 'SS', 'Z-71' or maybe a 'TYPE-R'after a while? I love rattle-can paint jobs. After a week or so, I'll probably paint it tan again...

What tan paint did you use ? I am thinking of painting my runner a flat tan.

flimmy, if you want to go with an "authentic" U.S. Desert Storm tan, the Fed. Spec # is 33446 :D

I've heard scallops easily add 20, and blended metallic colors that shift with the viewing angle easily add 100!

Of course it's gay, but that was the point. You should've seen the guys I wheel with when I pulled up. They were rolling on the ground.

I would have painted over it today, but wasn't in the mood to wash the mud off of it.

The paint I used was the Krylon brand's stuff. They have a specialty camo system - khaki, dark brown, and flat green, "ultra-flat". It's like $3.50 a can at Home Repo, but the stuff is hella durable.

Just make sure you prime it first, or you'll use twice as much, and it will still show the factory color in a crappy swirl pattern. (This is why most rattle can jobs look like crap. I guess they figure "it's ALREADY painted, why do i need primer?".)

Oh, and get one of those littly snap-on handles at home-depot or something that gives you a pistol-grip with a trigger. Painting with a push button for that long will KILL your thumb and index finger. Ask me how I know.
